Every version of the Hyundai Palisade is powered by a 3.8-liter V6 engine that delivers an impressive 291 horsepower coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission. You'll get plenty of acceleration and the transmission can be shifted manually using paddles mounted on the steering wheel.

Standard features include a transmission cooler, trailer pre-wiring and sway control and it can tow up to 5,000 pounds when it's equipped with the right dealer-installed trailer hitch. In addition, the new Hyundai Palisade can handle some light off-roading when you want to take on family adventures. The all-wheel drive XRT trim can reach 60 mph in 6.4 seconds and it comes to a stop from 70 mph in 161 feet.

In the first two trim levels the Palisade provides seating capacity for a family of eight but if you move up to the Limited or Calligraphy model, you'll be equipped with second-row captain's chairs that bring the passenger count to seven. Either way, there's a generous amount of room in all three rows for your family. In the second row a special button allows you to move the seat forward, providing easy access to the third row. The SL trim offers available power-folding second- and third-row seats that are standard on the Limited and Calligraphy models.
